Oversized Photos/Artwork

Sometimes our larger photographs or artwork can be too big i.e. more than 8.5" x 11.5" to fit onto a flatbed scanner. Or due to the sometimes used 'bumpy' type of paper that an old photograph was printed onto there may be tiny undulations in the digitalized image when scanned creating an undesired  stipple effect. This is when photographing your photos or artwork is a good option using an extremely high resolution full frame digital SLR camera and high quality professional lenses. This technique also requires specialized studio lighting and set-up which takes time so this method of digitalizing your items is charged by the time taken to complete the project, as with image editing and restoration.
